Around the League - 2024-2025 Part II

Sorry, man, but I think Montreal may just end up taking that 8th spot. They are going to beat Florida again on Tuesday, and the islanders and rangers are...bad.
If they do I’ll find something else to do during the first and second rounds while they’re playing.

5 of their last 9 are against Boston Philly Chicago Detroit Nashville. They have the softest remaining schedule of the teams trying to back into the last wild card. But I wouldn't put it past them blowing it.

They’ll make it and I wouldn’t be shocked if they won a round. Can you imagine Ottawa TTOE Tampa and Carolina in round 2, it’s shaping up to be that.

Surprised to see Kutch now leading (tied) the league in scoring. The guy has caught fire.

Edmonton and LA are locked in as a matchup for the 4th straight year. Great format, Gary. In the old 1-8 format, the first round matchups would still be up in the air. Edmonton could drop down, they could go up. This is insanity.
Apparently Buttman claims this is what we want.. or atleast the degen owners.

Maybe the Kings finally break through this time. Oilers look off. But McDrai will probably win the series by themselves.

2.5 billion increase from previous deal. Honestly less than I would have expected
The previous deal signed with Roger's in 2013 was 5.2 billion Canadian, this one is 11 billion Canadian so more than double? And that deal ended up being 3.64 because the exchange rates moved.
