Tanev, Carlo, Stolarz have the beginning of a team that can win, but we are still tied to the core.

I believe they can all win seperately, but not collectively. I hope like hell I am wrong

The love affair with Tampa around here will continue regardless. Meanwhile, they generally lose against most half-decent teams. Tampa will be out in the first round again.

Not trying to be a pessimist but if the Leafs draw Ottawa in round 1 I think they'll lose. Ottawa plays them well and will be coming in on a high with their first playoffs in awhile. Plus a loss to Ottawa would be the perfect addition to this version of the Leafs along with all the other failures.

Would be fitting for this era of the Leafs to finally lose a series to Ottawa despite being “favourites” .. the Sens have given much trouble to the Leafs in the last number of years in the regular season
