I stick with facts, we won the division and lost in the first round to a team serveral points in the standings below us. That crap team made the finals that year but failed to make the playoff since then and will likely miss the playoffs yet again this year. While the Leafs continue to make the playoffs and fail to get out of the first round. Still I would rather make the playoffs than not and I apperciate every playoff appearance brcause I have a memory of the post lock out years, which apparently a lot of Leaf fans can't remember

Winning the Divison or even the Conf, heck even the President Trophy means little if you get bounced in the first round by a team you dominated in the regular season, while also being the worst team to make the playoffs and lastly while leading the series 3-1.

He looks like a fully cromulent 2nd pair LHD and all, and rising cap and all of that.

But he's 28, what has Marcus Pettersson done to earn that kind of term?
 
At least Rielly isn't Nurse.

Nurse being unable to make a decision with the puck just caused the Oilers to go into overtime, where they won with a PP goal.

All Nurse had to do was pass the puck out of his zone, but instead he just kept messing up in his own zone until they get scored on. Had several opportunities to get it out of the zone.

Brutal contract there.

He is a lot like Tanev. I am surprised they signed him so quick but their D is starting to take shape now.

A lot of speculation that EP might still be on the way out as some players were really upset Miller was the one traded.

With 19+ million in cap space next year I wonder if they will be in on Rantanen?

After a slow start, and not playing with super elite linemates, Pasta is 3 points back of our expected Selke winner and he's doing it for less money than we are paying Willie. Connor is a bargain. Gonna ask for half of the city of Winnipeg to stay when he is up next LOL.

Hughes won't be a steal in a couple of years. His AAV may actually double when he signs his new contract. He might be the third or fourth best player in the league right now.

I think the same. He will sign for 15 for sure
 
Ottawa on its way to losing several in a row. That's the problem with these bubble teams. The losing streaks are as long as the winning streaks. The injuries are also not helping them.
 
It’s hard to lose two in a row to the same team in the regular season…but Awettawa managed to do it.
