Can we end this crap already? It's played out. And those jerseys probably cause some sort of disease.

Charge by the waif and he got what he deserved. Good for Benning.

Yeah. I liked the Benning hit as well. Thought the same that Petersson had it coming. More will be on the way.

Its the thing with the Canucks is they're so fresh into winning some games that opponents tend not to take them seriously or play them hard. But that changes in time. Trouble with the Nucks team is how do Hughes, Petersson etc deal with regular physical punishment that gets dealt to the Oilers. Hughes is another one that flies around like a ragdoll when he gets hit.

Toronto’s hype machine is responsible for the massive Matthew’s overpay.

In this season in particular the nonsense narrative of "bECaUse hE PLayS wITh mCDAviD" is out the window. Hyman was still producing as McDavid and Drai were in the doldrums of terrible non-productive play and drug the team along in some of the worst moments of this stretch.

Imagine making more then Mcdavid after scoring 60 less points then him last season.
It's all about pace and goals for them. Oh wait, McDavid got more goals too.

Matthews has 3 hat-tricks this year? That is impressive. 5 goals the other 16 games.......I would rather have a guy who is consistent.

Then you see that Matthews and marner are attached at the hip. Lo and behold, Matthews starts sucking when his engine (marner) is not feeding him like JG was to Lindholm

Lol. Wild Coach Evason calls out the Avs for teaching their players to dive. Something I’ve been saying for YEARS. The Divealanche is real folks and is finally getting called out:

They don't just dive, they usually execute the full diving experience.

Step 1: Dive

*if call occurs*

Fake injury to drive it home

*if call doesn't occur*

Fake injury + whine incessantly to the refs. Mackinnon usually does this to the point where it looks like he might cry.

They're the type of team that dives so incessantly they get offended when they don't get the calls despite knowing what they're doing. They seem to even fool themselves with it.

Crazy thing is this isn't even them at their worst. When they had Kadri on the team it was borderline comical if it weren't so ridiculous. The officials none the wiser that they were being made fools of, as is tradition.

Canucks can give them their moneys worth in the diving pool.

100%. Petterson is the poster boy.

Most of the times he gets even faintly touched he immediately drops to his knees and the dumb officials bite constantly.

Kadri is probably the most egregious diver in the NHL and has almost single handedly brought the Flames into this conversation as well.

Yup the whining is all part of the Divealanche plan too. It’s quite the operation they have going on there. Bednar has the guys bought in.

Interesting choice by Tocchet to healthy scratch Kuzmenko two games in a row and they lose to the Sharks by one goal.
There were rumors in off-season about Tocchet wanted him to get into good shape. Wonder if he's been lazy in practice or something.

Although with that being said. I prefer the two game healthy scratch sometimes. Lots of prima donnas that just figure whatever I'll get benched one game and be back.

Edit;Evanson fired in Minny

And John Hynes is back in as NHL coach.

He must be. Kuzmenko had 39 goals last year and this year he only has 3. That's a massive drop off.
