This just in, the fairly recent expansion Vegas Knights have made the final 4 for the 4th time in their 6 years of existence.

Seattle playing in game #7 today have a chance to make it to the final 4 in only their 2nd year.

Tax free markets.
Every final from 2017 will have at least 1 of the 6 tax free markets.

Its tough to imagine a less interesting semi finals group. Theyre obviously good teams, and even play fairly exciting games, but there just doesnt seem to be a pull to watch

Leafs should just pay the $500m expansion fee or whatever and tell the league we're going to replace our current roster with an expansion draft
We just need to be the Niagara Maple leafs. It's in America, new market new place, all the calls, and referees will come to our aid. Then finally when we win the cup, we can do the big reveal.

I know not many watch the NBA, but Tatum is the player you'd want. He stinks in the series even if he's a star, back against the wall holy moly explodes in game 6. Game 7 time...no problem breaking a record. Mamba mentality is a beauty.

I don't think I've seen that in the NHL tbh since maybe Justin Williams, who just brought but even then he wasn't the star.

The TV ratings are going to be absolute dogshit. Very little remaining star power and no real compelling storylines unless you really just want the chaos of a new expansion team winning like Vegas or Seattle or are invested in Florida getting its first Cup as well. No major markets.

I like the Carolina team and Rod as a coach, and I guess if Dallas advances it would be cool to see Pavelski win. That's about it for me.

Id want the canes to win it tbh.

Jack Eichel makes it into the 3rd round in year two with Vegas after missing playoffs in year 1.

Wonder when Fredzilla is going to fake an injury.
