Do they go Campbell?

He’s been brutal this season but he showed in the last two post seasons he can at least match the other teams goalie. May crumble in game 7 but oilers aren’t looking like they’ll make it that far this year

Much like the Leafs needing more than Muzzin in 2019, the Oilers needed more than Ekholm to fix their defence. Skinner going God-mode and the Oilers out scoring their problems made them look much better than they were to end the season. In a tight playoff series against a stingy Kings team they’re getting exposed, Nurse, Ceci, and Desharnais especially.

He's probably gone through a few pairs of Depends so far tonight.

I'm guessing he'd rather just chill but maybe the coaching staff makes the change for the second period.

At what point does McDavid rip into his team instead of being the quiet professional. Also Desharnais you just got posterized hockey style, he got walked big time

to be fair, McDavid is part of the problem right now

He's getting locked down by Danault 5v5

Oilers beat up on a bunch of trash teams leading up to the playoffs and thought they were way better than they actually are.

I remember when Matthews got raked over the coals for being shut down by danault. The dude knows how to shut someone down in a playoffs series that's for sure.

He could also try getting on the score sheet. He is the greatest player in league history after all

I think it's too early to write Edmonton off in this series or this game. It's going to be really tough to overcome LA's edge in goaltending, defense, and forward depth though. But if any two players can do it, it's McDavid and Draisaitl (assuming Edmonton get a ton of PPs)

I could actually root for the Oilers if their fans were like Calgarys and not give a crap about us.

Oilers have life.
