Hello all. Sabres fan coming in peace.

Looking forward to staying up until 1:30 tonight on the east coast, hope it goes better than last night...

I was wondering...have you guys been a tight-checking, physical team or more open so far this year? Buffalo seems to struggle tactically when we go against a physical and tight team, which Anaheim played like last night. Just wanna know whether or not to expect another tough game for my Sabres tonight.

Hope for a good one, regardless!

Take care!
Pond hockey all season pretty much.

Oh, of course, NOW Carolina's goalies can't stop a beach ball...3 goals on 7 shots.
Tank you very much! We’re not a contender this year, I’d rather get another top 5 draft pick. I’d rather be losing 6-5 and have inflated stats for Kovi and Carts, than losing 1-0 and trying to trade JQ with strong GAA & Save % stats.

Haven’t some around here theorized that Vegas players were on PEDs? This is the second player from the Golden Knights to get busted for PED use.

I find it interesting that the Knights fought tooth and nail for Schmidt last season and openly criticizing Zykov this time around. One's their best defenseman, the other is a 4th line player. Just found it curious.

feels good being right

their trainers are feeding them PEDs and they have no clue what they're doing

Twice is a pattern, VGK.

Indefensible. Those 'conspiracy theories' aren't looking as tinfoily anymore.

I don't think twice is a pattern and both circumstances are very different. It's like how people thought LA was circumventing the cap with Richards and Voynov when really the truth was both situations were/are completely different and the team lost in both cases. I am sure Vegas fans are having to over defend their team right now.

I think the key point here is the Knights have two players suspended for taking PEDs. Kings had two completely different issues which addressed their salary cap that they "circumvented." One of which was Voynov being suspended indefinitely, and Richards was a termination/litigation which the league approved.

It does sound tinfoily to accuse the Knights, but two players suspended for PEDs a little over a year apart reflects very poorly on the organization.

2 players in a year. The only two in the last several years.

The differences between the two are VGK claims Schmidt was following the program so no one can ascertain how he didn't pass vs. Zykov who says he was taking a supplement outside their program for the last 4 years (but wasn't caught till now??).

Of course, VGk has a scenario where they can defend a key player in Schmidt, but they have zero problem dumpstering Zykov. Makes them look better and as if it's a totally different scenario.

Still fishy as shit that the only team in several years to get busted has 2, and it's a team with a bunch of castoffs who had a vested interest in scrapping to stay in the league. It's plausible, absolutely. But the optics are awful.
