If the second round matchup is Ducks v. Sharks, it will be great. If the Ducks lose, great, we can rest assured that we have more cups than them in California. If the Sharks lose, we can laugh at them for getting all worked up about winning just one round. We should send them a "Beat the Kings Cup" to make them feel better. They can also hang a banner on opening night.

Even though it would be funny if the Ducks lost a 4th consecutive Game 7 at home after leading the series 3-2, I'd like to see Ducks/Sharks in the 2nd round.
 
Ducks have to lose in Game 7 in the SCF, that's their fate/path.

Double bonus if it's to the Caps, and JWill gets the hatty.
 
My guess is the Ducks are going to disappear for the first 2.5 periods and then try to mount a comeback, and eventually lose. That's their game 7 pattern.
 
I can never root for the Ducks to win. A Ducks/Sharks playoff series needed to be round 1, but the Kings choked that away against Winnipeg.

Go Preds!

Then a Preds/Blues WCF. Need a new team to win the cup.

It would be cool to see Ducks and Sharks beat the **** out of each other, but I'm with Sydor. Both teams can suck it.

We should all really be able to get behind the Blues and understand how they feel. They are the last of the 67 teams to not win a cup. If you count the Stars win in Dallas as one of the 67 teams. And they are since they moved.

This is really the Blues year to win it. No Hawks. No Kings. They've got a very beatable Stars team for Round 2, then either the Sharks, Preds or Ducks in Round 3... then the Caps most likely. It's doable.
 
Yep. Blues are coming out of the west barring a major meltdown.

East is still undecided, to be perfectly honest. The Penguins look pretty scary.
 
Crosby looks to have solved what ever the heck was wrong with him.

He has been an absolute beast all over the ice.
