Ducks Coach Bruce Boudreau on his low-scoring team focusing on defense: 'We’re almost trying to take a page out of the Kings’ book of their first Cup, when they couldn’t score all season long and they ended up just defending, defending and then they found their scoring
touch in March and they could still defend and they could score and it was a pretty good ending for them.' End Boudreau quote
Stellar defense by Bieksa on the Isles first goal.
What a train wreck that guy has been.

What a horrible acquisition. Even as much as I thought Bieksa was awful before I never thought he'd cause so much trainwreckery. But I guess that goes to show you how important top-4 d-men are--when yours aren't working, everything goes to crap.
The Ducks are the worst team in the NHL. If it wasn't for Corey Perry, the Ducks would be a Five win team by now.
Getzlaf Gooning it up...Haha, what a weasel captain
What's even funnier about that quote...
31 games into the season, Kings were 14-13-4 with 32pts.
Anaheim is 12-14-5 for 29pts.
Seems close...but a few factors.. Kings had Quick putting on a Vezina calibur season and were losing a lot of 1 or 2 goal games. They didn't get blown out very much. Their goal differential was actually pretty solid despite the low scoring.
Anaheim isn't just not scoring...they're getting scored on.
I'm surprised the Ducks haven't shaken things up and made a trade already. Its clear they need one.
I think Quick broke an NHL record that year for losses giving up only 1 goal.
It was something ridiculous , like 19 games of giving up 1 goal, and Quick lost 12 of them. Quick not winning the Hart/Vezina that year, was robbery.
