Congrats to BU winning the Beanpot last night. I’m sorry I missed the finals. Amazing with how talented BU and BC have been these past few years that in the last nine years BU has won just two Beanpots and BC none!

ESPN article said Northeatern has won five of the last six tournaments.

You know, for once, there is something Laine related we 100% agree on.
Those reactions are getting embarrassing. He just expressed his happiness that he will play more in the national team. Besides, the national team means a lot to us Europeans, more than it does to you.

MSL is not an idiot so he doesn't get it.

This is the best describe this situation:

That kitten better hope it can make a one timer pass.

Have we moved Fantilli into Olivier’s basement yet??

Watching Stars-Isles and Cizikas throws a heavy hit on a Star defender, borderline. Switched back and forth between broadcasts outbid curiosity and it sounded like a mains thread where each side was convinced of their view of the play.

Can’t link anything here but there’ll probably be a mains thread.

Welp, there goes my #1 goalie option for UFA signings:

If Elvis continues to play like he has since early January, I think we should be prepared for the possibility that he doesn't get moved or released in the off-season. 11-5-2 in his last 18 starts going back to mid-December with a .916 Save Percentage. You can win a lot of games with a goalie who plays like that. I know its just an eighteen game stretch but if GMDW can't move him in the off-season without retaining salary it's possible Tarasov is moved for a low round draft pick and we see Elvis/Jet next season.

It seems Elvis and the locker room have gotten past whatever issues they had, and now with Elvis playing his best hockey in years, I really don't see a big change coming.

Tarasov hasn't played well enough to factor in either way.

You know that Western Conference final Wild Card spot which seemed like a two team battle between the Canucks and Flames. They kept flip flopping back and forth with two game winning and losing streaks. They have fiddled around so much it’s now a four team race.

I would say St. Louis and Utah might make it interesting. Even Anaheim refuses to quit.

And the Wild can certainly lose that #3 spot to the Avs.

Is the honeymoon over for Jack Roslovic in Carolina? In TA's article about the player/asset each team is most likely to trade at the deadline, Cory Lavalette said:

Carolina Hurricanes

Jack Roslovic, RW

The Hurricanes look positioned to make some depth additions and nothing more, but if GM Eric Tulsky wants to add another significant player, it will require money going out. Roslovic has added needed secondary scoring (19 goals through 58 games) but has just two goals since the calendar flipped to 2025. If Carolina wanted to add another player, his $2.8 million cap could be the one to move out.

Roslovic has been a streaky scorer with long stretches of doing nothing? Nobody in Columbus saw that coming.
Actually he's not unlike another former first round pick we acquired and then traded away. Anthony Duclair is a very good skater, has offensive skill and goes on hot streaks when you start wondering if maybe the light switch has finally turned on for good...and then reality returns and he falls back to his same old same old.
