And I bet they are far from the only team interested. WPG wants him. Washington. Toronto might. There is going to be enough interest to actually start a bidding war. That's what got us the HAUL on Jeannot. All it takes is a couple teams who might play against eachother in the playoffs, and if they both want the same guy, we can CA$H IN.

There's no guarantee this opportunity ever comes around again on O'Reilly. I know Trotz is going to kick this one down the road and it will bite us in the ass. It's so frustrating that it Doesn't Have To Be That Way.

He is delusional! I am beginning think it was just dumb luck and Ovi being determined that got him a Cup in Washington. I swear he is deliberately trying to ruin this franchise.

Odd that Trotz made that comment about Novak. Wasn’t it Trotz that gave him the new contract and then went into the season thinking that Novak would be the second line center? I think Trotz just called himself an idiot publicly.

Also, he kept Novak around while throwing others under the bus. And his coach kept trying to make him a 2C when he played better on the wing.

Dunno what Trotz is talking about, Novak was still only getting 4th line minutes and one of his wingers was always a tweener. He got like 3 games with Vets at the start of the year and was one of the few guys scoring consistently over the last month or so.

Losing Novak isn't that big of a deal but it's just more of the same we have seen all season. Guys getting the blame while Vets are playing worse while getting more minutes.
