I honestly would not mind at all if we have to take Evander Kane back too. I mean, why wouldn't he waive his NMC to come here? If he thinks he can play, sure, let him try. EDM won't let him, so I don't think he has any incentive to not waive. Nicer weather, lower taxes, why wouldn't he waive?

Whatever gets it done.

But of course we'll watch as Edmonton picks up some other goalie instead, whether it's Gibson or somebody else. And the ship will sail forever over the horizon, we won't even have the mirage that we do today about possibly trading Saros.

Looking at some of these deals getting signed for depth guys that Marchessault contract ain't going to be looking that bad, heck not even sure the Stamkos one will be the time the summer is over.

If I was a GM I'd be all over ROR. 4.5 for him next season when Olivier and Greenway are going to be making 3 million and nearly 4 million respectively.

Think the bulk of that is likely Bjork but Gourde also has 75% retention using a 3rd party for extra retention.

Still insane price... would be kindof similar to a Marchessault + Sissons 50%.

Big issue is getting Trotz to trade him in the first place. I agree that someone probably steps up and pays but will he actually do it is the million dollar question.
