but then this would already have happened and the Habs would be getting like the 30th OA pickOff course that's a deal happening after the season is done.

Matheson is a horrible hockey player. When he's not playing on the powerplay he is completely useless. He already lost the PP1 job in Montreal to a rookie there and will lose it here to a rookie next year too. What you guys think of Matheson + Calgary's 1st for R.Andersson and Pospisil?
Matheson is in the same spot as Andersson as far a contract is concerned. Will ask for less on his next contract though. Probably in the 5,5M$-6M$ range.
Calgary are pretty much set on the right side while they could use some help on the left side. Habs is set on the left side and needs a more stable top 4 on the right side.
You can either trade Matheson back for futures or extend him, depending on the direction your team is taking.
No he's not. He plays on a team that literally can't score. He still ranks top 30 in all the individual stats.Don't you agree he is having a disastrous season?
Mike drop…end of discussionMatheson is a horrible hockey player. When he's not playing on the powerplay he is completely useless. He already lost the PP1 job in Montreal to a rookie there and will lose it here to a rookie next year too.
I would rather run back next year with Hanley in the top 4 than Matheson
Yeah that’s why he plays 25 minutes a night.he must be very bad.Matheson is a horrible hockey player. When he's not playing on the powerplay he is completely useless. He already lost the PP1 job in Montreal to a rookie there and will lose it here to a rookie next year too.

Montreal sits 4th last in 5v5 GA/60 and 3rd last in 5v5 xGA/60 so yeah sounds about rightYeah that’s why he plays 25 minutes a night.he must be very bad.
Yeah you’re very very good at this…Montreal sits 4th last in 5v5 GA/60 and 3rd last in 5v5 xGA/60 so yeah sounds about right
I'm not really sure how that is relevant since 80% of ice time is spent at 5v5. Also PK results don't translate to individual player success. For example Calgary's PK has been bottom 10 in the league this year but Andersson has the 3rd most blocked shots in the league this year.Yeah you’re very very good at this…
Now how about PK? Where are Habs and Calgary, where Matheson and Andersson are biggest contributors?
That's what I'm saying, you're very good at nitpicking stats that fit your bias. I won't argue that Andersson is better as I already know this. But this year?? Matheson has a very solid season playing a lot of time as a no.1 center on a team that is actually in the playoffs.I'm not really sure how that is relevant since 80% of ice time is spent at 5v5. time for you to find a different teams forum to make a proposal that is heavily weighted in the Habs favour centered on a middle pair dmanThat's what I'm saying, you're very good at nitpicking stats that fit your bias. Also to be clear, the rookie that took his spot on the PP is 5th in the NHL in points.
Yeah I will do that and go enjoy your 11OA pick elsewhere.time for you to find a different teams forum to make a proposal that is heavily weighted in the Habs favour centered on a middle pair dman
Why are the Habs not leading the East if they have so many good playersYeah that’s why he plays 25 minutes a night.he must be very bad.
To be fair, they are the best team in the entire league since the Four Nations (8-1-2).Why are the Habs not leading the East if they have so many good players
Mate, we have politely rejected your offer, we don't need Matheson. No need for this hand bag stuff.Yeah I will do that and go enjoy your 11OA pick elsewhere.
Im going to assume you meant #1 dman and not #1 centerThat's what I'm saying, you're very good at nitpicking stats that fit your bias. I won't argue that Andersson is better as I already know this. Losing to us disqualifies them thoTo be fair, they are the best team in the entire league since the Four Nations (8-1-2).
what you don't like asinine trade proposals and then refusing to accept logic?F*** Montreal fans have irked me more than any other team over the past couple years.
On the other teams board no less. **** Hanley downwhat you don't like asinine trade proposals and then refusing to accept logic?
