We just have no business right now adding guys on 1 year deals who will cost an arm and a leg to acquire. Especially guys over 30 with injury histories.

Once we can show that we have some sort of chance get into the playoffs and past the first round, these sorts of deals might start making sense.

not a chance the leafs move kadri in this kinda deal.
leafs would ask for names like domi,duclair,strome,chychrun etc. something that actually helps the rebuild (ie not a 29 year old pending UFA)

If we move Bozak, it could be a good idea. So long as Babcock wants Marner at wing long term. We already know from his comments that he prefers Nylander at wing.

He does? I missed that, thats great I want to see Nylander and Mathews stay together.

I don't see Kadri as the long term number 2 guy either he just doesn't put up enough offense.

If it were me I would be shooting for something like this in a couple years
