Don't see it. SO wins at home vs Coyotes in 2013 and 2020 (the streak is about regulation wins), a home SO loss in 2015, nothing else but home losses since Oct 17, 2002 vs 'Yotes.

Remember that time they had Ritchie on their team and came in early in the season ran the goalie and beat us? Lets get them back for that. Who cares about their streak. Step on their throats.

You're right about the exact date, but that was counted as the 2003 season. So they still had 4 wins since the 2002 season.

I don’t get why Rielly-lagesson isn’t played right now. Give Rielly an occasional shift with Brodie, McCabe, Benoit, and even Giordano. We dont have the personal to fit with him rn, but lagesson as a stop gap has been the best so far.

Play those two 16-17 minutes together, Rielly should be getting 1-3 minutes on the pp, maybe 30 seconds on the pk, and then play him with Benoit, Gio, McCabe a couple shifts to get him into the low-mid 20s minutes

Treliving didn’t grab tanev, I don’t mind that because I don’t see tanev a long term solution, or even somebody who pushes this team over the edge, but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t grab anyone, he needs to either use a mid round pick to get a short term option for Rielly (like schenn, lyubushkin) or he needs to spend assets on a long term guy and get him signed (pesce, andersson, etc.)

What he cannot do it sit on his hands and expect Rielly-Brodie to work in the playoffs. That pairing doesn’t even play together in the playoffs dating back 2 years now

As for the rest of the lineup, hopefully bertuzzi can keep it going, 3rd line could grab it’s points today too but hopefully Tavares isn’t an idiot today
 
I’m less confident about the Metro path than I was a month ago. I think Boston is a much easier out for us than the Rangers or god forbid we accidentally fall into the wrong wild card and play Florida round 1. I think we try for the division/home ice against Boston.

I am still not confident with either the Metro or the Atlantic. How can I be? This core only beat one team in the playoffs thus far. Any team will be a huge challenge for them. It’s going to be a slog against Boston, and you know it. Probably a bunch of OT, and it will go 7. Nothing “easier” against Boston.

Goes without saying. We could play Chicago, Montreal, Arizona, Columbus and I wouldn’t be confident we’d make it out of any round.

He gave out the jersey to the Leafs Troop at the Flyer game couple weeks ago, 1st time I've seen him as an alumni.

It’s actually really ironic. For decades we had guys that played with tons of heart but just weren’t good enough. Now we have the exact opposite situation.

Anyway, get back in the W column. I want this group scorching down the stretch.
