I already saw this line about 10 times at main HF boards. Can you come up with something new?If he does sign he'll be playing in a smaller arena than he did in college.
Does this kid have top 6 potential? Thanks.I'm new to your forum and know Nate. I've been following him for a long time, if there are any questions you have about him i might be able to help answer them. Congrats on the smith pickup, I hope he does well for you guys
Let's see...I already saw this line about 10 times at main HF boards. Can you come up with something new?
lol I'm not much of a hockey guy but Nate excelled in every team he played. He played roller hockey for a while then transitioned into ice.
He was a 3rd round pick of the jets and a Florida boy going to the farthest north team...lol
Let's see...
He must not be ready to stop living the college life yet.
Hudson, FlAh, okay, that might explain the "he didn't learn to ice skate until he was 11"...kinda like that girl from Ocala who just won an Olympic medal in speed skating.
What part of FL is he from? (I'm the resident Florida Man here, from Titusville but live in greater Phoenix)
He will sign, they talked all day on Friday. The jets knew he wasn't going to sign so they got whatever they could for himIf he does sign he'll be playing in a smaller arena than he did in college.
I think it is funny. I wouldn't let it bother you. Winning will shut them up.f*** this joke is getting old already.
It doesn’t bother me. It’s just a waste of time to read the same joke 1000 times. Everyone acts like this is an original lineI think it is funny. I wouldn't let it bother you. Winning will shut them up.
I have never stopped living the college life. At least, that is what my wife says. Party on.Let's see...

It’s as annoying as Kessel and hot dogs jokes as well.It doesn’t bother me. It’s just a waste of time to read the same joke 1000 times. Everyone acts like this is an original line
This is great news. Any insight as to why he didn’t want to sign in Winnipeg? And why he is so receptive to Phoenix? He will sign, they talked all day on Friday. The jets knew he wasn't going to sign so they got whatever they could for him

I'm not 100% sure but i think he wanted to stay in the US. The cold probably didn't help eitherThis is great news. Any insight as to why he didn’t want to sign in Winnipeg? And why he is so receptive to Phoenix?
I read somewhere that the Coyotes will burn a year of his ELC.This is great news. Any insight as to why he didn’t want to sign in Winnipeg? And why he is so receptive to Phoenix?
I talk a big game.My liver couldn't sustain living at a college life-level.![]()
That’s usually a given with college players signing after their season is over. The same will happen with McBain. But Smith will have to wait until Minnesota State’s season is over to sign.I read somewhere that the Coyotes will burn a year of his ELC.
Not sure what "Burn a Year" means but I'm going to guess he will play the last 10 games.I read somewhere that the Coyotes will burn a year of his ELC.
Good oneLet's see...

Some would say greater size leads to higher satisfaction
He means they'll agree to count this season as the first year of his ELC basically, so next season is the 2nd of the 3-year ELC, allowing him to become a restricted free agent one year earlier. Normally a guy would sign and next season would be the 1st year. Not sure what "Burn a Year" means but I'm going to guess he will play the last 10 games.
