It really hasn't been that much news. Dreger said that the Leafs were looking to move him, then this. And Lou said he would move him. That's about it. If other fanbases don't want to hear it then they should only look at their local media outlets and not national such as TSN or Sportsnet.

Im talking about other minor trades we have made, Richard Panik for Colin Smith at the time had pages and pages of postings

Good for Holland, he can be a serviceable player in the NHL, just wasn't going to work out for him in Toronto.

The most inconsistent player I've seen in a while. He can actually be a pretty good player if he decides to try every night.

If you can't make it on the worst team in the conference, I am not sure there are going to be many opportunities out there....

If he can't make it on the team with the lowest bar for success in the league, with supposedly the best coach in league, why can he be an NHL regular?

He cleared waivers in the Summer. So cant be for much.

He may do well if given a top 6 role. Hes not a shut down guy at all. Plays a more skill game. Just not better offensively then any of Matthews, Kadri, Bozak, Nylander

I'd imagine an easily achievable 6th-7th round pick is the return but I hope to find out for sure soon.

My Guess is a 6th with the possibility of a 5th if he plays 25 games or more this season.

Anything above that would be a huge bonus.

If there is a guaranteed 7th rounder I am thrilled. I have a suspicion that he needs to meet certain criteria before yokes give up a pick.

It's probably just future considerations with a 6th in there if he hits a certain amount of points/games played, right?

You know what would be cool, though? A CF% based condition. That would be interesting to see how it plays out.

Every team is different, he'll be given a different opportunity in Phoenix. He still played over 60 games a season his last two years.

Look at Richard Panik, he's a regular on the Blackhawks.
