Sutter always with the dumb move to pull the goalie so late in the game. And LOL with Clifford on the ice in the last minute.

That was disgusting. As I said in the GDT, not about the loss but HOW they lost.

I guess if I wanted to be silver lining tonight it's that everything had to go wrong for them to lose 3-2, but that whole game screamed lack of focus. Bad passes, bad checking biggest culprits.

Sums up the game.

Gaborik was absolutely the worst forward on the ice tonight. I wonder if that's ever happened in his career?

Not singling him out, they all sucked after the halfway point.

Even if its not Kopi...someone who is a little more skilled.
Cliff been showing a little more hands lately... And a whole lot more heart. On a game like this.... **** it go cliff. I dunno who else I am gonna count on in the falling seconds.

**** it, single him the **** out.
Hey Gabby, come out and play yeah?

I love Sutter but he always his this odd obsession with putting Clifford in offensive roles. A couple years ago he was given chances with Richards-Carter and Kopitar-Williams and this isn't the first time he's been used as an extra attacker.

I wonder if Sutter spent some time in Ayr, Ontario in the early 90's.

He hasn't scored a goal in 31 games.

Look, I understand sending a message, but you also need to try and get points, and putting out the guy with the longest goal drought on the team just seems really dumb. Obviously this is a minor complaint, but it's still ridiculous to have Kyle Clifford on the ice in any kind of offensive role.

should have played Enroth with the start he's having

rest Quick

at this rate Quick is going to play over 70 games, but why when Enroth has proven to be capable of handling the load???

Am I the only one that thought Clifford going out was Sutter's way of telling the rest of the forwards they sucked tonight? :dunno:

It's a loss, they're going to happen. It's only our 6th of the season. I don't know why the sky is falling in here.

Not McNabb's best game.

15 games into the season, and Kopitar, Shore, and Andreoff still have a combined 1 assist.

0-4 against the Pacific at home, with 4 goals scored. 9-2 against everyone else.

The Smith factor was huge late in the 3rd. The Kings wouldn't shoot it in deep (because of Smith) only to lose it at the blue line. Kopitar was invisible and Doughty has been poor the last couple of games. Gaborik might as well sit.

On the plus side, Shore looked good and Forbort was real good out there.

Brown scores a goal and is still garbage. Can't shoot, can't skate, can't handle the puck, would probably pass more, but that's hard to do when falling on your face and losing the puck.

Brown shuts down anything in the offensive zone for the first line. Lewis/Shore shut down the 3rd line.

Sutter: Stupid

McNabb stealing Muzzin's sweet pass to the other team.

Solid game.

Meh, I'd like Quick to get that one that McNabb setup... Though I guess you could argue he knew we had it and was a little to relaxed. The others weren't overly bad on him.

Yup, that's huge when the Coyotes have a lead. Can't let Smith get that kind of time with the puck, but had no other choice with 4 Yotes between blue line and red line and the 5th back ready to support.

Don't worry, I'm sure the Kings have plenty buffer built up in the standings by the time playoffs come around.

Solid strategy to pull your goalie with the 4th line out.

The only stretch I thought we looked real good on was between our first goal and theirs. We had quite a few good chances then... The rest of the game we were ****ed getting offense started.
