4 Wins out of the first 7 games ( 2 to go ) on the Road trip…. the poll prediction is looking pretty pretty pretty on target

The answer is: only just. Tied with Pittsburgh at 40pts but we hold the final spot due to tiebreakers.

Have CBJ and PHI breathing down our necks (though we have 1 game in hand vs both).

And it seems the NHL is either using AI or lazy interns to copy paste.

Tomorrow, the 6th, the Penguins can take the WC Spot with a point….. But the Canes are the better team, so would not put and money on it.

After tomorrow Sens will have 3 games in hand on the Pens.

This is correct… and the Sens will need to win those games to keep pace with the teams that are closing the gap, in points, behind them in the standings…. Which in addition to the Penguins, now the Flyers, Wings, and Blue Jackets… some of these team will play either today, or Monday, before the Sens play next in Detroit.

should of included Boston in your list, as their win loss differential is +3, vs Tampa’s + 6.
Senators are closer to Boston than Tampa in reality.

This is true, I was only looking at the Wild Card Race…. The Conference standings should looked at as well, as the Bruins are catchable by a number of teams currently behind them in the standings

Hamonic goes down with injury... JBD's chance? Matinpalo
Jenik called up... I think he can be an upgrade on the cooled off Gaudette in the bottom 6

Mantipalo in over, JBD seems like the writing is on the wall for JBD...

I like Mantipalo though, so I guess that's good...

edit: Apparently JBD is injured at practice ??? That really sucks for him

Not putting any weight on it...

I find that JBD has been perfectly fine this season, he has some of the lowest Against metrics among team's D-men

Regarding the forward group, I don't know, I'd try :

Tkachuk - Norris - Batherson
Greig - Stützle - Giroux
Jenik - Pinto - Gaudette
Reinhardt - Ostapchuk - Cousins
Gregor
