I appreciate the following teams for having a unique color scheme.

Flames - Red, orange, and white w/ black 3rd.

Avalanche - Burgundy and blue

Stars - Green, white, and black

Red Wings - Red and white. Albeit they're just the same as the Leafs and Bolts just with red instead of blue.

Panthers - Red, blue, gold, and tan

Kings - Black and silver. Albeit I'm not a fan of copying the Raiders

Wild - Green, red, and an off-white

Kraken - Blue and aqua

Canucks - Blue and green

Golden Knights - Black, gold, red, and grey

Eh there are only so many color combos that look good, I think the only primary color that's really missing from the league is purple. Even just bad jersey sets -- CBJ, WSH, VGK, TBL -- are pretty few and far between.

Totally agree with you though about Boston's jerseys. The anniversary set is I think the best any team has put out in the last 15 years.

Part of the reason I wanted Anaheim to pair their original eggplant color with their new orange, would be a completely unique combo in pro sports. Only have seen it on Virgina tech b-ball and it looks fantastic

Well, it's not that surprising. Not many people dislike red, blue, or black, so those are pretty common options. Meanwhile, plenty hate brown, yellow, or purple comparatively, so way safer to adopt a traditionalist color scheme versus something far more out there.

The Utah jerseys look way to similar to the Jets, and vaguely similar to Seattle if they ever want to create a black version (as so many teams like to do as well)

I love purple personally. The Vikings and Ravens execute purple to perfection imo in two different ways.

I actually like brown as well. I'm a big fan of the Padres current unis, not to mention the Cleveland Browns unis are sharp looking too.

Tampa Bay choosing to look exactly like the Toronto Maple leafs was the next biggest blunder

I don't actually mind the Kraken name but this would have been the best jersey/logo/name combo in the NHL.

The Lightning changing their colours to practically the same as the Leafs pisses me off.

NHL never should have allowed that, especially since they play in the same division.

And now the Sens and Canes look almost identical having both switched to black/red jerseys.

Definitely need more diverse colour schemes in the NHL for sure.

As an Avs fan, I don't disagree that our colors are among the more unique around the league, but as the husband of an art teacher, I have been told that burgundy is made by combining red with a touch of blue, and that (Red+Blue) and Blue should still team Red + Blue, despite the mixing.

I'm watching Washington vs Loiusville right now, and Washington's purple, gold, and black color scheme is pretty sick.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Oakland A's / Green Bay Packers color scheme back in hockey.

The Coyotes had amazing unis. I loved the Kachina unis and the brick red unis they had.

The eggplant and jade color scheme of the Might Ducks were amazing.

I'd love to see orange and white like the old school Tampa Bay Bucs.

Those are just some examples.

If you look at old pics from back in the day, all the teams kept it simple. The only colors they used were black and white, or sometimes gray. Very classic look, wish it would come back in style.

Tampa has done it right with those black 3rds though. I hope those are popular enough to become their new homes.

Ya thankfully the Sens went back to jerseys more like the original ones they had.
Ottawa is known for its sports teams being red and black, hec even one of the teams is called the Red Blacks.

Feel the exact same way. Id throw the Rockies in there, as well as the early aughts kings. Purple always works.
