Are the NJ Devils already collapsing?

Threads like these never age well. They’re 7-1-2 in their last 10. They had a rough patch and had key injuries to their blue line. They struggled for a bit.

Yet they’ve found ways to turn it around.

They were actually playing better when they were losing in December than how they’re playing in January. The hockey gods are fickle.

Finding ways to win is never a bad thing with a young roster, I hope Fitz gets them the help needed for a deep run. Get Timo in here!!

Wrong team in the east collapsed

NJ is pretty damn good for a team that wanted to fire lindy ruff 3 games into the season

Good team is good… more breaking news at 11.

Healthy hughes and hischier should be a recipe for success for a very long time. They both tilt the ice in different fashions.

Hey. It was 2 games in. 😂 One factor that always seems to get overlooked in the discussion around the fire Lindy chants is that it had a lot to do with the Devils already having Andrew Brunette behind the bench as an Assistant.

Nico was a beast tonight and he’s probably around 75%

We are lucky for that, pretty much i think takes over whenever Lindy is gone down the road. I really don't understand why the Panthers let him go for Paul Maurice:huh:

I was legitimately worried about the Devils for a hot minute in December... but that comeback win over the Rangers on Jan 7 seems to have turned things around and they are 7-0-1 since then including that game.
I really wasn’t. They were shooting a super low percentage at the same time the goaltending fell off for a bit. They honestly played better during that L streak than they have been lately before last night.
