Jets are an unstoppable force. Their goalie is the best in the league right now which makes them even deadlier.

Carolina looked dangerous yesterday. Comrie wasn't insane, yeah he made some great plays but I think most of it came down to Winnipeg playing a good defensive game. We didn't give them room. And Carolina didn't capitalize on their high danger chances. Wasn't a domination, but Winnipeg was the better team.

Gotta say though Kotchetkov is out to lunch on some of his decisions. If I had to watch him play regularly I'd go insane, hes unhinged.

They're for real but I don't think they can go deep in the playoffs with Namestikov as your #2C.
Technically Lowry has been our 2C but he's hurt so Namestnikov has been filling in. Having said that im not convinced Lowry is the answer at 2C either. Logic says Chevy adds a center to play 2C but this teams chemistry is so good and they keep rolling, so im not sure what the hell to do lol.

Yea AHL defenders.
Didn’t Coughlan, Heinola ,and Fleury bounce up and down the AHL last year and this year?
Read up on the Jets forum constant complain about Stanley
Jets fans don’t think Stanley is legit NHL quality D

Fleury has played pretty well this year and Stanley is getting better . He is cutting down on his gafs lately and if keeps it up is he will be ok . Heinola and Coglan are AHLers but we were down a lot of D at one point .

They already did that. They got rid of Kane, Trouba, and Wheeler a long time ago.
I don't know if I'd include Trouba in that group. With him, it was 100% him wanting to be with his fiancé/wife, who was busy being a doctor in NYC. It was more that he wanted to be in New York than he didn't want to be in Winnipeg.
I might be misremembering, but I don't recall hearing anything about him being a disruptive presence in the dressing room. PLD, on the other hand...

First in the league a week into February…eight game heater going into the break…if they keep this up they might just crack the top ten of Sportsnet’s ‘power rankings’.

I don’t get it.
Jets lose Monohan and Tofolli and add no scoring options yet have the best PP in the league.
Lose Dillion and Schmidt and Replacing them with AHL Defenders and still have good defensive metrics. What gives?
Losing Dillon and Schmidt was a blessing in disguise, Jets needed to have a more balanced mobile blueline and they did just that.

This is a good thread .Me & my buddies have talked about this a few times. One thing is clear though & that is, this is the best team the Jets have ever had.Be interesting to see what they do at the deadline.I would be happy for Manitoba if they finally pushed through & won a Cup.
