Are the Jets for real or are they going to crash and burn?

15-1 made no sense...............neither does 3-7 in the last 10 games, so.......................good team, but reality had to hit.
I think the fans can still be pretty happy with their team?
Still in good shape, and know they are a very capable squad.

In good shape for what? Making the playoffs and being an easy out in 5 games? I think a lot of hype around the start was maybe it would be different this year but the team is showing it has the same flaws as always. I already shared this opinion during the hot streak.

They are the one team who are eve Leafier than the Leafs with this stuff. They simply get dominated in the playoffs and don't put up much of a fight once the series is taken over by the opponent. Two years in a row of seeing that.

End of the day, these early season games are just entertainment. Outside of points for making the playoff, they have basically no impact to result of the season. We've seen in the past decade a lot of examples from the Blues being in last in Jan, to the Panthers just squeaking into the playoffs and going to the finals, to the Oilers being terrible their first 20 games and making the finals, etc.

Jets fans should enjoy it because that is the point of the sport, but in terms of relevance to the playoffs it means less than nothing.

the jets skid has way more to do with the schedule then the teams it's played despite what one person who probably has only watched 1 jet game all season seems to think

scheifele will play better considering he has been playing hurt the past 2 weeks

This road trip is ridiculous and the team is worn out from it.

That said, they were obviously not as good as their amazing start. Vezina calibre goaltending, scoring from everywhere and an unsustainable powerplay had a lot to do with it.

More worrisome is we are seeing the same inability to deal with any adversity.

Dreamland? They literally went 15-1. That's near impossible to accomplish. They were certainly that good (emphasis on "were"). I mean...you can spin it how you want, but that's a large enough sample size to admire an amazing stretch.

Stars fan here saying they obviously are a contender this season and it will be a fight to make it to the Finals this season if we have to see them this postseason; seems like every time my Stars get a (tough) win the Jets do so as well with ease the same or following night.
