MoneyPuck is giving the Winnipeg Jets a 9.1% chance of winning the Stanley Cup.
Other Canadian teams pale in comparison, with only the Leafs rating above 3% (4.7%).
So, let’s talk about the Winnipeg Jets. After the Dubois trade fleecing of the Kings, the removal of locker room malcontents (Dubois, Wheeler) and securing critical stars to long-term deals (Scheifele, Hellebuyck), the Jets are driving forward with a formidable four line team and oozing of depth. Star prospects are percolating off the roster. The Jets have a lot of ammo and cap space to further arm their squadron.
The Jets boast the best third line in hockey (Lowry, Niederreiter, Appleton). They are so dominant that they are now eating up second line minutes.
Jets are POUNDING the opposition:
Jets are OUTSKILLING the opposition:
Who will stop this Canadian juggernaut? Frankly, I don’t think there is a team more deserving of success than one backed by Guffman.
I will now open up commentary to the community. Are the Winnipeg Jets Canada’s best hope of ending the Stanley Cup drought?
