Are The Dallas Stars Underachieving?

Oilers were hanging on for dear life in game 6. Don’t kid yourself, that series could have gone either way. Dallas also went through a gauntlet in the first two rounds whereas Edmonton … not so much. But at no point did I think Edmonton was the better team lol.

Keep in mind I don’t agree with the other poster saying Dallas f***ed it up.

If they meet again, it will be another tight series that will go the distance.
Once again, it’s a crazy and almost delusional cope.

“Oilers were hanging on for dear life in game 6.”

As opposed to what? The Stars lost that game regardless. If it could have gone either way, the Stars should have at least forced a game 7. The Stars even led the series 2-1 and were not good enough to execute.

Oilers in 6. Better team won, and whining about game 6 doesn’t help you.

it’s delusional to say the series was close and could have gone either way? Or it’s delusional to say the Oilers were hanging on for dear life in game 6 where they got outshot 34-10?

either one is not delusional in my eyes and if you think it is then that’s your opinion.

Don’t get too worked up my friend, after all it’s just a game.
More so addressing your overall theme of diminish Oilers, pump up Stars because “it was close” or because “Stars had the gauntlet.” The Canucks were tougher competition than the Stars.

Somehow in your head, the Oilers weren’t the better team.

But hey, if you need your imaginary world to justify a WCF loss, then you do you.

I feel the same way about the Panther series sometimes, but I’m not crazy enough to vocalize it. Plus, reality dictates that we lost and thus the Panthers were the better team over 7 games. Common sense.

Seeing how heated up you’re getting, I beg to differ my friend lol.

I may have triggered something so I apologize. I didn’t mean to voice out that the series could have gone either way. Best of luck the rest of the way, and Go Oilers!

Did anyone even check the PDO of Dallas last year ? Dallas is one of those teams that hockey fans just say are good and that's it.
