Three straight Stanley Cup finals. I would think teams will start to try to copy Floridas style as it's clearly successful in the playoffs. What do you think?
I dont think any star is leaving the Panthers for the leafs.Leafs are already doing this by signing all of our UFAs and making noise about trying to poach Sam Bennett. Problem for the Leafs is that they're the Leafs.
That's the playoffs. Teams who play through it win and teams that don't get eliminated. They don't win because of the refs, but the refs not calling their headshots and general after the whistle f***ery sure helps.
They are the personification of "can't call them all"
yeah, the two different rules books is stupid. the lack of consistency is whats dumb. Youll have a player hauled down from behind with no call, then a stick in the midsection gets called 30 seconds later. That's the playoffs. Teams who play through it win and teams that don't get eliminated.
To add to this, the key piece is the coach.Nah, its a culture thing. Everyone on the panthers has bought in.
Can't just add players and then PRESTO it all works.
Been the reality forever.yeah, the two different rules books is stupid. the lack of consistency is whats dumb. Youll have a player hauled down from behind with no call, then a stick in the midsection gets called 30 seconds later.
They're 1 and 1 against the West in the SCFprobably in the East, but no guarantee they'd make it past three legit teams every year in the West

Winning a series in even 4 games is not the same as not enduring any physicality and having a toll taken on the body.yea but they have the benefit of a soft path through every year with minimal wear and tear

they waltz through a soft conference every year, totally different to making it through the bruisers of the WestWinning a series in even 4 games is not the same as not enduring any physicality and having a toll taken on the body.
This seems to be the greatest misconception I've seen by many posters on these boards.
