There are better things in life for Maroon to do then pick a fight with X. Or at least pick on our smaller guys like Struble...or Anderson...or Guhle....or Dach....or Savard...or Pizza...or even Slaf...

In other words Mr Maroon, this isn't the Teletubby Habs of a decade ago. We got X, the top 3 NHL heavyweight and 7 middleweights that can take care of business.

Damn, that “top 3 heavyweight” beats up an old man and you get pretty giddy, eh?

It's funny how he's apparently top 3 despite never beating anyone in the top 5. Calling David Savard any type of fighter is also hilarious. Then you have 4 other so called middleweights he listed who have combined for a whopping 9 pro fights.

Who's in your top 5? I hope Reaves and Dlo aren't on it. The first one don't fight anymore and the second don't even play anymore. Both will be gone next year. Macdermid too probably. The league is so soft now. Xhekaj is definitely in the top5 at the moment. And for the record, Xhekaj have beat Olivier in their first matchup

Well, if we're not counting guys who barely play then it's hardly worth making a list. I'd have Reaves, Deslauriers, MacDermid ahead of him along with Olivier and McIlrath. Idk if I'd say he actually beat Olivier in that fight as it was pretty even but maybe a slight edge. I agree that the league is very soft now which is why someone getting all giddy claiming that they're team has all these fighters seems even more ridiculous.

Only Xhekaj and Anderson are legit fighter for the habs. What's really sad is that with only those 2, the habs are probably tougher than 90% of the nhl.

Withing the last year or so...Guhle has taken on...Mantha, Rossi, Henrique and Strome.

Struble has taken on...Graves, Entwistle

Pezzeta...barely plays but is a willing fighter including taking on Reaves

X and Anderson can take on anyone, the other guys are willing middleweight. More middleweight are coming up the system.

This isn't the Habs of 10 years ago.

The intent here isn't to be the new Broad Street Bullies or Big Bad Bruins, the intent is to not have idiots taking runs on players like CC and Hutson.

Maroon is legit but he f***ed with a top 5 pugilist in the league
Only one of those statements is true. Maroon for the most part just looks to use his strength and just control the other guy, or "hugging". However he did give Lowry a good go earlier this year.

I don't disagree with that and I'd call Anderson a HW not a MW. Pezzatta is a solid MW.
