The british wrestler or the movie ? ;)
Oh the movie, every time.

Kudos for being old enough and savvy enough to remember Mark "Rollerball" Rocco (RIP), that's awesome!.... Check out the Rollerball glove!

He's just a late bloomer. It happens sometimes. He wasn't anywhere near ad good at 17.
damn this guy is our new Hal Gill with a mean streak. if he can keep up, and limit dumb penalties, what a 5/6th D to have on your roster!

My playing weight at 17 was 6'00 200lbs - and there was this beast of a dman in the league with similar playing to Jackeye. he made any forward very uncomfortable within a 3' circumference of HIS ice. it changes the strategy on zone entries, PP, and cycling. Always difficult to play against...

He's better than Hal Gill offensively.

He needs to be able to play hockey, good in his zone and keep up.
or he will be gone to laval

I hope he does do well. Love to see him ragdoll Nostrils
I wanna see X living in Brady Tkachuk’s comfort zone…..smack that stupid grin off his face.

Having Edmundson, Xhekaj and Anderson on our team makes for a great deterrent for any shenanigans other teams may want to employ against our skilled guys!!

Tuch and Guhle could probably hold their own also.

Loving the make up of this team!!

Mentioned this in today’s Scrimmage Thread but it bears reprising since it specifically concerns Jackeye:

Marty very cognizant of the special player that Jackeye is.

At his presser, he noted “Historically, guys that play like him, don’t have all the offensive attributes or the feet that he has.”

He added “so for me, to watch a big guy like that, move like that, make plays, feel comfortable at the blue line, be really good with the puck but also be mean, that’s exciting.”

However he pointed out that sometimes those types of players like Jackeye know that aggressivity is a big part of their game, they almost play with too much aggressivity where they tend to look for it and when they do, they forget about the other parts of their game. He knows it’s part of his game to be aggressive and physical but it just has to be controlled.
