Jackeye handling has been abysmal
St Louis likes his D polite no hitters
Struby comes up plays like a young lion
Noticed as his play gos along its like he's been told to turn into a vegetarian

Sure seems that way but I think Arbor is struggling from the famous sophomore slump and also got a big head instead of bearing down
Possibly but seems to me that can be righted by just telling him what he's not doing that he was his first year

He's still alive and going strong, believe it or not ! Still looks pretty much the same as he did too, one of the perks of being bald and ugly by the time you're 30 ;)
He started out as a referee

Wasn't Jackeye injured then sent down I thot for conditioning type deal and then just left there

I think his popularity rubbed management the wrong way. I also think they are trying to bring him back down to earth a bit. Let's be honest, his defensive game needs to improve.

I actually didn't see a terrible side to his Defense- he was in the plus - and being a popular player with fans shouldn't be a problem unless Habs management are weird or very woke

Anyone post how st louis went easy on struble after his horrible game vs his Arber comments?

You guys are hilarious trying to paint something out of nothing.

Marty and the Habs brass all want Arber to succeed.. they don't hate him, they don't want to take him or make him into something he isn't..

Struble had a bad game.. Arber's issues have been issues for awhile now. We all get treated differently on a one off bad night vs. continuously making the same mistakes.

Arber admits his issues himself, so why can't you guys do the same?

I agree with you. I just don't like the calling out publicly part.
I don't think it helps the player

You guys are ridiculous with the so called ''message'' we are sending him. MSL is not benching him because of the penalties, it's because he skates like Lucic and fumbles the puck more than Matheson despite having half the icetime.
he's actually quite a good skater, and I've been impressed with his passes in general. Now Harris, that kids sucks in the D zone, he's always under pressure and making bad plays.

Well then play him they need some toughness or is that not proper in Montreal - don't want a rep as being a tough team or throwing off the gloves -

Harris is very timid like that's what's liked

Harris was scratched multiple times in the past few games for Xhekaj - does that mean the Habs hate smooth skating cerebral defenseman and only like penalty taking physical guys?

Harris can't go down to the AHL - where Xhekaj can. There's also the fact that Harris is older, played 4 years in the NCAA, and is a safer player on the defense than Xhekaj is now.

They can't just play him all the time and have him taking 2-3 penalties a game. That's the message. You can be physical. You can play your game. You just can't be reckless and take penalties from going out of your way to make a hit, miss the hit, and commit a stick infraction because you got beat back to the net.

Trade Harris and keep up Jack-- there you go

Wreaks havoc with a young player’s confidence. I see it as a major blunder by an inexperienced coach. It doesn’t solve anything when a private conversation can go a long way.

Plus, when a coach starts blaming a player publicly, it creates negative inferences when you see him not do it when other players make mistakes or take dumb penalties.

If he won’t give the player meaningful minutes, have him sent down over the rest of the year and let the player develop in a more forgiving environment.

honestly I think they were sheltering him a bit as he is trade bait. Now he's chum after his latest obliteration . Gotta trade your assets on a high note, like a stock

What did he say I missed that
They will... that doesn't change the short term.
Today ? No- Tomorrow? Maybe-- I want to get it over with

You'll have to learn patience because Kent Hughes isn't going to throw away a good young defenseman in Jordan Harris.. he's especially not going to do it before Xhekaj evolves his game enough that he can be put on the ice reliably and not take bad penalties.
