2011 D.Sedin won the ross with 104 pts and was the only 100 pt guy

Crosby paced for 130 but was injured

3 60 pt 2nd line guys was closer to 70 pts in this time. Very strong production for the time

Wayne Simmonds had 28 goals and 117pms. That’s like 50 goals and 250pms by todays standard. Great player. Hope he plays tonight!

I think Jeannot might be someone who overdoes the physical part and gets penalized trying to earn his his keep. Would rather see a few penalties drawn than scraps in game 3, at least until the score is decided.

I would agree with you but unfortunately that's not how the refs are calling the game (or atleast not in our favor) Jeannot was clearly instigating and didn't get an instigator.

I don't think we are going to draw penalties from Tampa mucking it up the same way they would if we were trying to play dirty too.

Jeannot and Perry will continue to get away with those tactics while we would be immediately penalized for it. Hate to be that guy but we've been down this road before.

Tampa Bay really just crutching on their PP so far. Leafs really need to stay out of the box.

The Leafs are actually playing well.

In the first period of the first game, they played like garbage.

Then they cleaned up their act a bit after that. In the second period they played better, scored 2 goals, but their penalty kill wasn't sharp yet. They got in a lot of penalty trouble, Schen which led to a goal. Bunting, which led the a no-goal goal and then the coaches challenge with Bunting's let to a goal. The second period was very unlucky.

Third period Leafs outshot the Bolts 11-5. Score was even 1-1 in the Woll vs Vaselevsky duel.

Second game was much better. Advantage on 5v5. 2 goals on 6 PPs. 0 goals against in 3 penalties.. which is reflected in this chart.


I can't believe Bunting got 3.5 games and Nosek got nothing.

Nobody ever gets an instigator these days. I mean, even when it was new it didn’t get used much but I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen it called.
