Seriously, who the hell cares about the garden renovation? I guess it's cool to go there and see it, but does anyone want to see constant specials with the construction workers about the garden? Who the hell cares? It's obvious that this is marketing or better yet propaganda, it's really transparent. I'm just tired of it and don't understand who would actually want to watch this.

It would be more entertaining if it was propaganda. CGI in an additional 8,000 seats and rooftop pool. Talk about how Elvis played the opening night concert there, post-mortem.

Propaganda and advertising for a program are 2 very different things.

It's advertising, but I like calling it propaganda. It's really not far off.

I'm a capitalist through and through and think they have every right to do it and it's understandable. But I also have a right to complain how annoying it is.

They have a 24 hour network with a few hours being occupied by games every week. That leaves a hell of a lot of time to fill. What do you want them to show instead? I guess it's a bit annoying, but so is any and every kind of advertising.

I'd rather see some more classic Rangers and even Knicks games. They show the same exact games all the time. I wouldn't mind seeing a random game from a random season if it was a fun game. Say, game 3 of the Sabres series in 06-07, the double OT game that Rozsival won.

Bingo.

I was at my mom's house during the game and her exact comment was "you should write MSG about the announcers. As a season ticket holder I'd be embarrassed with them as my broadcasters." The past few games have been painful to listen to.

why season ticket holders be embarrassed? They are at the game so don't need to listen to the broadcasters.....

IMO MSG adds are no worse than any other station, the good thing is that ads are pretty easy to tune out these days

As a foreign Rangers fan who has fallen in love with the city of New York after several visits, I can't get enough of anything and all things MSG.

Probably helps I graduated with a bachelor of civil engineering and am fascinated with the quick turnarounds between Rangers and Knicks games.

And it's great to see current Knicks and Rangers interacting with the construction crews and recalling their favorite pieces of Mekka history.

I realize it's a huge undertaking and accomplishment, but it annoys the poop out of me now to continuously hear about it. Even my gf commented about it tonight and she watches maybe 1 in every 5 games with me. We're in Montreal, and she's a French Canadian who's been here her whole life so no real NYC or MSG history other than what I've told her and what she's seen when we visit my parents, but still.

Who would dedicate 5 nights of their life to watching that crap?

Yeah there is nothing more compelling than hearing that idiot Giuliani talk about where he was sitting when they won the Cup. Who doesn't want to hear about all the superfluous garbage Dolan is wasting money on yet still ices a mediocre product? Oh yeah, and lol Knicks.

MSG sucks. The programming sucks. The brodcasting and coverage sucks. The teams all suck.

Msg thanx u for promoting it for them on here. Gonna watch it now, thanx.

Less offensive than showing game seven of the 94 cup finals and acting like its a recent event.

At least you can see where your ticket, food, beer and merch dollars are going.

Underlined: What? I don't understand your path to conclusion.

Bolded: They don't care.

It's the way it has always been. They are promoting the changes to get more people to come and spend their $$. It is a business...

Im a die-hard Rangers fan and a St. John's graduate, yet I havent stepped foot in the Garden since they broke ground on the renovations. Thats how committed I am to not putting money in Dolan's pocket.

Im not dense enough to think that a lot of others will follow suit, but it is the only way we'd see any meaningful change

As someone in architecture/construction field, I like the idea that they are giving you a behind the scenes look at how everything was constructed. Its something you don't get to see with most buildings in the city unless your on the job site or working directly with the contractors.

What I don't like is the "propaganda" aka the constant stroll down memory lane. It adds nothing of value or substance to the program. Instead, why not add interviews with the architect /designers of the project that explain why and how they came up with the design solutions for the renovations.
