I can't imagine ever actively rooting against the national team representing my own country, but that's just me.

It's the country I was born in, it's about as far I'd take my affiliation.

Same perspective. Flipped it on thinking it would be background noise for a bit and then found myself shocked by the physicality. Really was some great hockey.

Like I said in the other thread, Team Canada at the Bell Centre is really a special treat. The crowd was loud and engaged, and the "Crosby, Crosby, Crosby!" chants were so cool. A stadium of mostly Habs fans cheering for Mitch Marner. A stadium full of Habs fans loudly singing "Ole, Ole Ole Ole!" after the big win. Infectious!

I'm going to USA vs FIN tonight and I can't wait!
