I personally and literally love tanning myself, as I believe it is a essential and necessary part of any health/fitness/beauty regiment. Some of the boys at my fitness centre literally laff at me and "give me the business" as it were, but the joke is literally on them because I am literally both bathing and basking in beautiful UVA rays which are literally enhancing my skin and giving it a beautiful glow. Bae Layla or Baela luvs my golden/bronze tones which literally get her all "hot and bothered" because it enhancuates my pectoral chest muscles as well as other "show" muscles like my "guns."

Some people are worried about skin cancer but I literally do not understand this as the sun and tanning are both natural and healthy, and tanning beds/booths provide the same healthy UVA rays which are not only providing a gorgeous tan but also nutritizing me with vitamins like Vitamin D and further strengthening my physical and mental health.

So what do you think about tanning and how much do you spend per month on tanning? I go once a week which works out to about 20 "bones" per month which is literally well worth it in my IMO, and I would highly recommend it along with you're usual gym membership, supplements, and etc. for maximumum beauty and health. @VickAshley

I lost 1/4 of my ear to skin cancer.

Up until age 40, I loved tanning. Bring on the SPF 8 p***yes.

When I heard the diagnosis and had to have part of my ear removed, I wanted to smack the guy who loved tanning around and tell him to put some f***ing sun screen on idiot.

Vanity is a bitch and you couldn’t be more wrong about the sun and healthy UVA-B rays. Vitamin D? Yeah. But not that shit.

They don’t know what they are talking about.

As I kid I worked construction and golf courses. In later life, I would literally play 60 rounds a year.

My skin cancer came on my ear. An area exposed and tanned constantly for hours a day.

Spoiler alert... the answer is yes.

as you can see above your post and now below it right in this post, it's literally two people that swear by regular tanning, who have never even ever had skin cancer at all, ever, vs your post in the middle, from someone who had his ear literally circumcised because of skin cancer, because he doesnt believe in tanning and probably did not tan enough as I have or jimothy has, and we are both literally with both our ears. Its go big or go home, ylor at least if you arent going to get a good couple tans in before you go to someplace like Jamaica, then wear a hat

Yep. It’s confirmed.

You ignore science in favour of the anecdotal (look it up) experience of two people so far. Let’s check back in 10 years.

It’s probably obvious but to anyone reading this thread, skin cancer is real and EVERYONE is at risk. That’s not me. That’s science.

Or you could believe two dicks and end your life early.

Up to you all

As the owner of a family-run tanning salon, it's disheartening to see my livelihood unfairly maligned.

Fact: Any reputable salon operator will have signs clearly displayed warning customers of the dangers of prolonged UV exposure and discouraging excessive tanning bed use.
Fact: Tanning is a great source of Vitamin D. Vitamin D deficiency can itself cause cancer, in addition to heart disease and osteomalacia.
Fact: I have personally seen the smiles of people who finally have self-esteem for the first time in their lives after years hating themselves for their pale skin.

There are two sides to every issue. All I ask of everyone here is to educate yourselves on the topic before you form an opinion.

So

FACT - it’s dangerous and requires FDA warnings

FACT - vitamin D is important.

FACT - Vitamin D is found in food and vitamin supplements as well.

FACT - some people may like the way they look after tanning.

This is the pro tanning argument?

If you are really in Jamaica right now at the moment of this posting why are you so up-tight when Jamaica is literally world-famous for having a laid-back type of vibe?

Who is uptight? Seems you and your alter-ego are the ones getting your pants all in a knot when science gets in the way of your vanity.

Words matter and if there are folks reading this crap, they need to know the real deal.

You’ll be woke one day.
