Anyone able to watch todays Canada Practices for WJHC?

That guy was not Blunden. I don't know who you are refering to, but what I do know is that Mike Blunden was Pouliot's linemate in last night's game.

Yeh I'm pretty sure that's who it was as well, I watched the highlights saw that it was #21 then went to the rosters and it was Russell.

Yah, that wasn't an encouraging play. Dubnyk didn't look much better than Russell did. Hopefully Russell can bounce back tonight, I'm sure no one feels worse about it than him. These guys have such a small window to try and impress.
 
ok well TSN has reported that Julien Ellis has given up some really bad goals but is being shelled, on the other hand Price has faced only 12 shots and let one in supposably not that great of a goal, but of those 12 shots 3 have been the only good ones.

TSN mentioned that Jonathan Toews has a pair and Andrew Gogliano is also among the goal scorers for tean white ..
 
I saw some highlights again on TSN tonight. Looks like there were about 10 people watching the game. What's with that? Is it free, or does it cost money to attend?
 
Seems like in the mind of the TSN broadcast team, the goalthending situation is already settled... they're making it sound like Pogge has locked the No. 1 goalie spot every time they have a report. Can we say he's already a lock for starter at this point? :dunno:

McKenzie keeps bringing up the fact that Price and Dubnyk don't have such good stats, but I don't think that will do much in Sutter's final decision. The two of them have not played behind a very solid defence, something that Pogge has had this year in Calgary.

Pogge probably have a spot on the team by now. Price will probably be the other one...

Who's gonna be the #1? Hard to say at this point, the battle isn't over. And one bad game from the #1 at the WJC and the situation could change...that's the way I see it...
 
I'm betting the decision will come down primarily to whose played the best in practice, I'm doubting any final decisions have been made yet though.
 
Does anyone have a hunch on which two goalies will backstop Canada against the University team, and which two will be in nets for the U of B.C. team?
 
I'm pretty sure Setoguchi scored a goal while he was behind the net his pass touched Ellis and went into the net.
