Anyone see Stevie Y. last night on HNIC? Now that's one guy who shouldn't be a TV hockey analyst. Don't get me wrong I adore him as a player but he came across way too shy.

I myself like both Burkes. They both bring interesting viewpoints to the game. i think they're excellent editions by the CBC.

Let's look at what they did this summer

Dumped Glenn Healy, who was absolutely brutal.

Picked up Sean and Brian Burke. Both are smart hockey people.

Now if they could only get rid of Greg Millen...

Agreed on all points.

Sean Burke is not as good as JR, but he is definately not that bad. I don't mind him actually.

Would you rather have Al Strachan?

I think Burke is giving great analysis. He just needs 'face time' on TV.

Actually I really enjoyed the segment with Stevie Y. It was more of an interview though. I don't know how he'd do actually working for CBC.

I couldn't care less about how Sean Burke talks. This guy seems like he actually knows what he's talking about, and as an NHLer has a lot of interesting stuff to talk about.

Brian Burke is a very good hockey man as well, and I'd much much rather listen to him than Cherry's ********.
