Any cities you wish had a team (not in Canada)?

London
Berlin
Prague
Helsinki
Stockholm
Paris
Munich
Zurich

5 x 8 team divisions. Top 2 in each make the playoffs.

Next 12 teams play 3 game Playin.

Round 1 = 1 vs 16 ect.

4 other Divisions remain as they are.

64 non-divison games (2 against each team), 21 division games (3 against each team) for a total of 85 games.

OR

48 non-division games (1 or 2 against each team rotating,
35 division games (5 against each team), for a total of 83.

Make the transatlantic road trips long.

Really want one in Portland. Than we can have our 3 team hub similar to the New York team.

btw.... back in the day Anahiem ducks players drove to the games in L.A by themselves?? like wtf... did they park in spectators parking or something?

Houston is a no-brainer, IMO, major market, obvious natural rivalry with Dallas. Another no-brainer is NOT trying Atlanta again(with all due respect), certainly not before Houston.

I'm not "wishing" but one market I find intriguing would be Austin. Dell, Whole Foods is HQed there. Lot of tech companies, state capital, lots of college students. It's cut from the same cloth as other non-traditional markets like San Jose, Columbus, Nashville, and Raleigh. In theory it would be a "destination" market. No income tax, a music town, lots of young singles and families.

I used to joke that the Coyotes should build their area in Guadalupe, a tiny little eastern suburb nestled between Tempe and Phoenix. It actually wouldn’t have been a terrible location in terms of average travel distance to where most of the fans lived (but it would have mostly otherwise sucked for unrelated reasons).

The joke I was kind of going for when I made it is that people from elsewhere often don’t even know about it, and plenty of locals often regularly forgot it existed (myself included).
If memory serves me correctly, aren't the more affluent and populated areas west of downtown Phoenix but south of Glendale?

How about no teams, 32 is good.
Why is 32 good?

What about- reality aside- going back to 21? Maybe 17?

I know when the NHL doubled in size in '67 people lost their minds, convinced the product would be too diluted and too poor of a quality to watch.

With the Blazers up for sale and Phil Knight saying no, I would bet on the Blazers leaving before they get a hockey team.

Especially considering they need to build a new arena soon and both the city and state are having serious budget issues.
Wal Mart even closed some stores. Lol
