Proposal: Anton Lundell to Utah

Why not just resign Bennett and keep Lundell.

Florida would need a 4C, 6-7D and a backup goalie.

I think the Panthers having 2 2C centers in both the 2C and 3C spot is a big reason for their success. Teams that are deep down the middle are usually good and it seems there is a shortage of top 6 centers these days

You'd have to pay through the teeth for Lundell. Against rebuilding teams that can offer more. Florida isn't stupid enough to trade him.

Utah would be giving up the 4th pick and a roster player. It will coet them.

IMO Utah would be messing up big time doing this deal.

Actually Cole tracks very well. He was drafted for his defense prowess, strength, and commitment.

I think his speed/offensive limitation issues are going to limit him and he was drafted too high but sure he has a "safe floor" and he might be one of those guys who is physically mature in junior, he has the size and strength right now but doesn't develop much more.

But the 24 draft really began to taper off in the late 1st round as well so it could just be the year he was drafted that is tempering my expectations.
