Retweeting a guy from a group called Attomwaffen is a pretty good indicator of how far off the deep end this guy is...but some people want to bend over backwards to give him the benefeit of the doubt and defend his "character".

Is following and retweeting a guy who is part of a neo nazi group called Attomwaffen, way out of context? Or is it ok because he deleted it when people started to take notice?

So guy likes a tweet and that makes him racist? You didn't even bother to tell what tweet he liked. And I haven't never heard of this callous nazi group which is your sole argument to call DeAngelo racist.

It's pretty thin to most of us. If we believe that you're telling the truth about that matter.

Who the hell is going to Russia now
People who have no idea what's going on around them.

With whats going on in the world you would have to be beyond desperate to consider going to russia, poor guy
I know, right? There are a number of North American players who made very bad career and life decisions this past offseason.

Idk who that is or what the tweet was but ya sounds like it could be taken way out of context. Lot of things these days gets taken way out of context. See it happen all the time - "oh look this guy follows that guy on twitter! He must be an X, Y, Z. Man what a horrible human being"
Right, everything is out of context. Follows neo-nazis on twitter, suspended in juniors TWICE for using slurs, multiple reports of him clashing with teammates at the NHL level, dad is a confirmed racist on video and says he raised Tony that way, can't find an NHL job despite apparently being really good. It's alllll just smoke though. The world is just conspiring to make him look as bad as possible to ruin his career for no reason.

There were teams full of imports back then though, like Jokerit, Slovan, Riga, Croatia and Czech teams. That's more than 100 players. And there are way more young Russian talents in the league nowadays.

As much as I am opposed to what Russia does, there is a steady influx of North Americans, not only in sports but also in other fields of work.
I am pretty sure there was a bigger flow before

I am hoping to go to Russia this spring for a vacation. Parts are very beautiful. But then again I am not brainwashed by the media
Yeah, I heard Kursk region is very nice this time of the year

Looking at their roster they sure like former Hurricanes

Kuznetsov, Tolchinsky, Nikishin, Zykov. Now DeAngelo

Oddly enough, the only time any of these guys played together in Carolina was DeAngelo and Kuznetsov very briefly this past April. Nikishin is a prospect who hasn’t come over to the NHL yet, and the other two made cameos years ago when the Canes were churning through players.

It's not ONLY that, that is simply ONE of the things that lead people to criticize him. lmao so because you haven't heard of it (no offense, it sounds like you haven't heard of a lot of things that exist in the world) it's not real, that is hilarious in how stupid it is. Just google it if you don't believe me, instead of looking like a tool and a fool defending this loser's honour like he's your dad. Real weird para social relationship you've developed with hockey players you've never met lmao.

I'm sure though you probably see no evidence that they are racist either lmao. You will defend literally anything on here and I bet you couldn't even explain to yourself why you feel such an urge to do so.

Maybe you feel under fire when people levy these criticisms at him because you've been accused of being the same thing people are accusing him of being? It's the only thing that explains the vigor with which you wish to die on this hill.

I'm sure if he retweeted some commy terrorist group instead of a neo nazi one, your tone would be a bit different. Something to think about. You're blindly defending him more so than anyone is blindly attacking him.

His critics at least have something to go on, whereas you just see criticism and go "I must defend this sweet hockey boy at all cost!" lmao...or maybe you see yourself in the criticisms of him and get defensive.
