Danault has played 64 games this year - he's not hurt.
Careful Nutz, if we disagree it will go against the narrative that we are one and the same. These guys play through minor injuries.
The vets don't even confide in the trainers about them, except right after they happen in the game.
These little problem really drag on performance when playing at this level and hurt confidence.
It can lead to a spiral down in performance.
Just my take.
You just know the Kings are going to bring back the 1-3-1 in the playoffs and get wrecked standing in the neutral zone... again, rather than generating rush offense and keeping the Oilers on the ropes.

You must have been banned that day
Myself @KINGS17 @Herby and @AbsentMojo were all voted Overlords of Leaping and now you have to put each of us on ignore
Lol. Yes I'm aware. The Kings didn't even play the 1-3-1 100% of the time against the Oilers. In fact they look the best they did when they would press on the forecheck early in games, or when the score was tied. You do know every team at some point uses the 1-3-1 in the playoffs, right? Last year Fox showed 2 or 3 times EDM used it when they were up a goal.
Maybe it makes zero difference, but I believe Hiller was running the TM systems last year and there should be no reason why we see these games aren't played differently after having a whole season to integrate his game plan.Lol. That is what made those series so incredubly frustrating, the Kings would play the 1-3-1 and the momentum of the game would change drastically, and not in the Kings favor.
The Kings showed they could hang with the Oilers at times, but they would get in their own way, and wouldn't just play their game.
Didn’t he play with 2 broken fingers in the playoffs last year or was it the year before? He dropped off by 10 goals from years 22 to 23 -- yet he played 82 games. Was he injured then too?
The org isn't going to play an injured player if there is no need - makes zero sense and benefits no one.
I'd look at the last King's, Oilers game for how Hiller sees it. Trying to play a disciplined & completely defensive game they ultimately lost because Laferriere retaliated on a head shot. Same prevent defense he's rolled out before.Maybe it makes zero difference, but I believe Hiller was running the TM systems last year and there should be no reason why we see these games aren't played differently after having a whole season to integrate his game plan.
Surf is os older than I am!? Lol. I would've guessed way younger because I understand zero of the references he makes and his posts have that millennial toxic positivity, all about the memes vibe to them.I have been a Kings fan since 77.

To be fair, it’s been well-established that they don’t even watch the games. No one understands what the f he is talking about. I think he rolls dice with words on them to put sentences together
