Have to think Blake is sniffing around Kreider, yeah?

Big, good net presence, PP scoring galore. Pretty no-frills game so unlikely to get benched by this staff for creativity/risk taking. Would def like someone more creative and righty but...

He could be cheaper than expected. That owner is a dumb reactionary wild card, he could see the extra cap space free’d up by a deal and send Kreider out for a song. There’s a world where it’s a disaster to bring him in, could also be shrewd business.

Somebody was saying blake was sniffing around krieder. I watch the rangers alot because of quick and sam rosen. The guy i think drury is dying to move is zibanejad. In the conference finals last yr mika stopped backchecking and pretty much playing any defense at all. Then he had a kid and his prioritys changed. Now. The guy doesnt want to play hockey anymore and basically mails it in every game. This dude is poison and he's cooked. Maybe not to dj but he appearently is through with nhl level hockey.
Krieder is somewhat better but not very damn much. A healthy scratch over the weekend. He likes to tip the puck for goals but not much else. He sure cashes some big checks however.
Hands off both these cats.

Greetings from the Leafs' board. Toronto would certainly entertain the idea of acquiring Danault, although there would have to be some cap going back in the most likely form of Kämpf.

What would a potential deal with the Leafs look like?
Nylander and Kampf

for Danault and Doughty, if he consents.

If not

Danault, Moore, and Gavrikov, if he consents.

if not

Danault , Moore, Englund and Kaliyev

You guys want em back, you know it!

They are trying to set themselves up for McDavid should he hit free agency. Won't be surprised to see them moving Kreider for player(s) with comparable cap hits that expire in the summer of 2026.

That’s the expertise of the HFboards GM in full force. Can you imagine how many cups we would have if these guys ran the team?
The last 10 years for the Kings (2015-2024+):
  • Zero Stanley Cups
  • Zero playoff series wins
I'm not sure any fan could do worse than that, but ok.

Don’t worry about old Scrooge. He was still fantasizing about McLellan when the Kings fired him.

At this point, I feel like someone could have at least lucked into a playoff round win.

Yup.

No matter how much Blake knows about hockey or how qualified he may be for the job

Any poster here could have created a black hole team for a decade out of the 2017 Kings.
