Something is amiss.. you have a player that keeps putting himself into dangerous situations and getting concussed - that has totally has effected his career and physical health, and yet there are no apparent changes... What does that say to you? Ive have not heard it acknowledged that these devastating hits are partly due to his inability to avoid them.. Maybe if it was acknowledged Id feel like there was some team level awareness. Maybe if we had actual hockey press in this market the question would get asked.
Why would they acknowledge it if they thought it was a flaw in his game? It’s an unrealistic expectation. I’d be surprised if any franchise acknowledged such a thing and based on history, stunned if the Kings did. Nor should they.

It’s not a head injury that he’s out with anyway.

This team could use a little scoring punch especially on the 2nd PP unit. Let Arty set up near the right circle and put Q on his opposite side. Get Danault off the PP (nothing personal Phil).

Also, great news for Turcotte. Hopefully this is just a minor setback for the guy and he's back in the lineup in a couple games.

Helenius will be a fan favorite. The fans love him in Ontario.

Realized even with all the toughness they added the off season, the top 9 is pretty soft. You add in Jeannot and Helenius and take out Lewis or Lee - it gives the Kings a chance to move Helenius or Jeannot up.

In the playoffs, Burroughs and Englund won't be playing (when Doughty is back), so the tough players will only be Edmundson and Jeannot. Kempe can be nasty, Clarke can stir it up, and Byfield can get feisty, but nothing really scary in the top 9.
