Value of: Another 1st round pick to Ottawa

Sens don't need picks, they need NHLers.

The only core member they've added outside of the draft since before the 2018 season started is Matt Murray, and he isn't exactly what I'd consider a real core member

Connor Brown on 2nd thought can fit into the core group, though I wouldn't consider him a core piece

1st round players end up costing more money than 2nd rd+ players on average. Ottawa is in the market for more 3rd and 4th rd picks. We will trade our 2nd rounder for your terrible old veteran though.
