1st for caprrtrntion? Not happening on a rental. It likely be a high contract so retention us $10M+ payment which owner won’t do.

I'm not sure I understand, Schmaltz is a useful middle 6 scorer and I'm under the impression that Brown and White are not well valued in Ottawa. If I have the wrong impression, my bad.

There is another thread that lists White as a buyout candidate and Brown as a mid to late round pick to acquire. I'd want a 2nd for Schmaltz so as far as I can tell, I'm giving him away to you guys.

You have the brown's mixed up. connor brown has been pacing 50 points in each of his seasons with the sens while also being very good defensively.

josh brown is absolutely garbage and maybe worth a 7th if some gm is dumb enough.

Not sure why Ottawa would prioritize picks at this point. They have a plethora of talent looking to trickle into the NHL over next 5 years.

If they're going to target anything, its a 2nd pair defensemen or a top 2 center.

That's probably fair. Brown has established himself as a pretty serious second line winger. Does everything well and can even be the driving force on his line. He hasn't had too much help, the Sens load up their top line and Brown carries the second.

That being said, I don't want to trade Brown lol

Lucic isnt getting traded this year, only way he's moved is after his nonus next summer. A realistic offer for Brown would be Kuznetsov and a 1st for 50% retention at the deadline
