Not sure where to post this but I've been using hfboards for about 10 years and this only started happening in the last few weeks

Recently when I click on a thread it takes me directly to an Advertisement. For example I would like to open the Laval Rockets thread but when I click on it takes me here. It also happens when I click on the number boxes to advance to the more recent part of a thread

Anyways it's running my enjoyment of the forum and I'm almost ready to abandon the site for alternatives unless I can find a solution.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue and have a solution

Its so bad I stopped using the app and now only post from my computer. Its disgusting. As if the bullshit board ads aren't bad enough, and the ads on the glass behind the net and on the ice... now we have to deal with this shit too.

R.I.P HFBoards app.

The chance of that happening is as good as Habs making playoffs this season.

I posted in the help forum, or whatever it is and no one responded.

It's f***ing sad how desperate this place is for money now with these ads.

At least they're not running ads for here for threads that are a few months old

On Mobile I've been getting a shampoo ad that starts off as a small rectangular ad at the bottom of the screen, which is alright. But then this yellow overlay slides in from all 4 sides that make the posts here unreadable until the ad ends.
Same. Thats garbage, I don't mind the ones at the bottom and understand they need to pay and all but damn..

I use DuckDuckGo and Presearch on mobile with zero ads.

I have noticed that on my work computer using chrome, even with unlock, that I still get the full screen "disable your ad blocker" message.
