Despite all of the hand-wringing, the odds are very high that the Leafs will win this game simply because Detroit is so mediocre. But it does mean that Samsonov is almost certainly here to stay until Woll comes back and they elect to carry three goalies.

Yeah, Keefe isn't going anywhere. There's never been any indication that his seat is hot. At the earliest this off-season but I'd bet money he's still our coach next season.

Nylander should never ever ever ever be at the point for any reason.
The PP is sooo predictable and the way they line it up is just terrible. They only have a couple of guys willing to go to the net. One of them is Tavares and he often camps out there and the unit almost NEVER gets the puck into the danger area. For years now they have desperately needed to simplify the PP at times. It is amazing to me that their PP numbers are so good when they squander so many chances.
Not sure I like Tavares and Robertson together, They both need someone to feed them the puck.
Then you got Marner and Domi on the same line passing it back and forth to each other since they don't have a shooter on that line. They are probably telling Bertuzzi they somehow don't see him out there.

Their quality of play seems like they're sleepwalking to a firing, but yeah I don't think he's actually on the hot seat.
I am dreading management trading picks/assets for rentals in a year where they have massive holes.
They keep doing it each year, as if every year they will win the Cup.
