Honest question…what the hell is the point of making definitive domesday predictions like “this team isn’t making the playoffs”, “they are bad”, etc? Like, I legit don’t understand it. It’s a statement of finality. It offers nothing in the way of discussion. How does one respond to this? “Oh you know what you’re so right! Now what?” It’s just dumb and insufferable.

Can't say that I know.

People who say "the season's over" or "they'll be fine" are equally frustrating.
