I don’t get why big guys are automatically assumed to be potential ‘unicorns’ by some people. What makes Bahl a unicorn if he puts it together? He’s a big dude with a long reach. Not all that rare or hard to find in the league. Isn’t a great skater, doesn’t even play physical. The only really benefit to his height is his reach.

Okhotiuk is a much better skater and more physical and IMO a better defender. Bahl has him beat in reach and a bit better of a puck mover. That’s it really. Nothing special about Bahl.
The reach and height matter in combination with the playmaking you see spurts of. I’m not saying I even like Bahl but you’ll spend time figuring out if he’s the real deal if you’re a GM. At the very least, he’ll return more in a trade, until one of them sticks as a bonafide NHL player.

Maybe it's truly not your intention, but I honestly don't get why you keep clowning advanced stats in every single GDT. They're still a representation of what's going on on the ice and some people like seeing them.
No - I really want to know - What I'm seeing is NJ dominating the game and wondering if the stats actually say that.

Also a little bit of poking fun because we seem to win every game with advanced stats and not on the ice.

It's a nice indicator but in the end if you win the stat battle and lose the games on a nightly basis, what are those stats telling you? How do you act on those stats? To me and my feeble mind, it's that this team can't finish and I want something done about it in the way of a move.

I'll stop

If you are trying to trolling and bitching, how do you identify yourself and what kind of pronoun we should use?
Bitch is cool - I'll go with that

dominating. Naturally no goals.

Ulmark is 19-1-1 with league leading SV% (.936) and GA (1.94), it’s not surprising that we aren’t getting much by him.

8-1-0 on the road with two shut outs. His only two, against Columbus and the Colorado Injury Reports, so I would be disappointed if we got shut out here.

I’m not at the game because I have COVID, which I likely caught at the last Bruins game. Happy New Years!

It feels like one of those games where we make one mistake, it's a goal against, and then we collapse.

Really hoping they buck that trend and get back to dominate 2nds with plenty of goals for

It's all good man, you don't have to stop anything, that's not how I wanted to come across at all.

To me, if we lose and most advanced stats are in our favour, it's still a good sign. It means that even though we lose, we put up a fight and play our game. Sure, at the end of the day it's not worth "anything", it juste helps give perspective to the L's! Don't know if I'm being clear enough haha!

If they lose because they can’t put a couple past Ullmark people in here are gonna whine about the team not having finish, totally ignoring how ridiculously good he has been this season. Dude’s on pace to break records for Swedish born goaltenders.

We really need to get another home win too (a win period) as our record at home isn't good at all, relative to our overall record.

We've barely won more games than we've lost at home.
