Something around Peeke for Jensen or Mantipalo? He's not worth a ton or anything but Boston is already short one RD after dealing Carlo, so it doesn't make any sense to trade him without viable alternatives signed.
To save money to go bigish game hunting this summer (Ehlers). I see Peeke and Jensen as similar players but Peeke is younger and cheaper. I’d imagine we’d have to add due to the reasons above to make it work. But why?
Sens don't need Peeke.
... would be a huge step back and a mistake.Something around Peeke for Jensen or Mantipalo?
Maybe go big game hunting first before you make a trade. Don't want to end up like Detroit where you pay to move Walman to bring in Stamkos, only to not bring in Stamkos. To save money to go bigish game hunting this summer (Ehlers). That’s fair I’m just trying to gauge value. Jensen or Peeke are a stopgap for Yakemchuk anyway.Maybe go big game hunting first before you make a trade. Don't want to end up like Detroit where you pay to move Walman to bring in Stamkos, only to not bring in Stamkos.
Keep in mind that Jensen was viewed as a huge step back when we first acquired him.... would be a huge step back and a mistake.
Still is even if he has been a good fit. Chychrun is still way better and was quite good in Ottawa. Should have moved Chabot insteadKeep in mind that Jensen was viewed as a huge step back when we first acquired him.
Has nothing to do with anything, especially since I was defending that trade on day 1 and it has worked out exactly as I expected.Keep in mind that Jensen was viewed as a huge step back when we first acquired him.
Not at allStill is even if he has been a good fit. Chychrun is still way better and was quite good in Ottawa. Should have moved Chabot instead
Jensen had a long track record of being very good with Washington and had one bad year. Peeke ... does not have thatKeep in mind that Jensen was viewed as a huge step back when we first acquired him.
