Value of: Andre Burakovsky to Arizona

Arizona has been scouting just about every other Washington game. I think Burakovsky fits what Chyka is looking for and is right in the rumored age range he likes.

Wondering what it would take from Arizona to land Burakovsky. Signed 2 years at 3M and is a UFA at years end.

Washington looking for a picks? Roster players? Prospects?

It’s probably too late for picks and prospects at this point unless a trade happens in the next 24-48 hours. They could then flip this assets for a bigger name if need be.

They are really looking for roster players who are more of a 2nd or 3rd line player. They could improve their PK as well

Would a Richard Panik have any interest? Statistically not too bad for his what he brings, can PK and plays with an edge. Would be a pure rental at 2.8M, but would likely have have the production as AB

Panik and a 3rd? Or even throw in a Josh Archibald? Good 4th line guy with speed to burn and is respectable on the PK? Arizona does hold the best PK int he league.

I just dont have the book on Burakovsky to know where to start. I dont want to be the stat line reader and gauge from there.

Fischer?

I think Fischer is apart of the core. However he is about as inconsistent as they get. Give you a hat trick one game and then never hear his name called for 9 straight.

Sounds like Fischer and Burakovsky are int he same boat, though. So that could be a match?

Yeah, I hear ya. I just dont know where to peg his value. Maybe a Christian Fischer AB swap may be a little more palatable? I dont think Chyka would offer that, though.

Burakovsky has 4PTs in his past 5Games so (based on the Maple Leaf fan exchange rate) I think he should easily be worth a Top 4D.
