I have to replace a couple of 12 inch subs in diy speaker towers and I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for credible sites to buy from? Not looking to go expensive on this (the originals weren't exactly high end) but would like to get these things up and running again.

Recommendation for 12" subs? Stay away from subway and find a local deli. If you're forced to go to a chain? Jersey Mike's or Jimmy Johns.

Have bought audio stuff from Crutchfield several times. Always a good experience. Installed a head unit and backup cam into a car once and they walked me through a tricky question I had on the phone, so that was nice.

That may be it. As far as I know, Dark Mode is still in the test phase that site mods/admins can use. I don't use Dark Mode on anything, so I'm not positive.

The dark mode works on my phone but not on my PC. I think @norrisnick is spot on about system preferences taking priority.

thanks folks. Really just looking for reputable places where I can buy safely from. I have no idea if the towers are worth putting new subs in; they were made over 20 years ago and I don't remember them sounding bad when they worked. Got a bad feeling I'll end up having to replace the mids and tweeters, too.
